Gucci Mane – Woptober 2

Woptober 2 is the sequel to Gucci Mane’s 2016 mixtape. The album is chock full of collabs with the hottest artists in the game right now, including Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby and Quavo. Gucci keeps it fun while still letting us see a more intimate side where he gives the listener an authentic, but still hype, experience.

Foals – Everything Not Saved Will be Lost: Part 2

Another sequel, this time for Foal’s album released earlier this year. The album weaves between contemplative lows and angry highs while pushing a message of optimism and acceptance with the powers beyond you. Dance beats and existential lyrics merge to create an emotional experience.

Singles:

Lights Up – Harry Styles

It’s been two years since Styles’ first solo self-titled debut. He’s definitely proving he’s still got it with this mellow catchy dance bop. The instrumental and lyrics hint at a more confident side of Styles that knows where he’s going, which could only mean good things going forward.

DHL – Frank Ocean

The king has blessed us. DHL is filled with boasts about his boy-toy and the eternal iconic status of his music over a minimal but captivating beat. This is hopefully a teaser to his hinted at 13-track album.

Pluto Projector – Rez Orange County

The second single released for his upcoming album, Pony, is a slow, orchestral ballad that quietly screams promises of long-lasting love. It’s a truly beautiful song that highly contrasts the first, more upbeat single, 10/10, which implies exciting things for his new album.
