Jacquees- King of R&B
Atlanta R&B singer is back with a very ballsy title for his sophomore album and follow up to 2018’s excellent 4275. On this new album Jacquees expands on the sounds we saw on 4275, with production that is equally classic as it is modern. King of R&B takes a little bit more smooth and subdued approach which sounds so good paired with Jacquees’s mid-range vocals. This album is chock full of features with fellow ATL artists such as T.I, Young Thug, Gunna and 2019’s breakout female vocalist Summer Walker.
Dave East- Survival
New York MC Dave East is back with a monster of an album, Survival. The 20 tracks that this album has allows Dave East to showcase his diverse skill set. From classic boom bap tracks such as “Godfather 4,” with Nas, to trap bangers like “Night Shift,” with Lil Baby Dave East proves himself to be someone to watch. Dave East has always shown himself to be one of the most skilled rappers in the game with witty bars painting gritty pictures of the streets and Survival continues to show this.
Wiki- OOFIE
Wiki has been one of the most off the wall underground artists for a while now. Hailing from New York, Wiki has always stayed true to his NYC roots while continuing to go down weird and left field roads. Everything about this album is just a little bit off kilter while at the same time extremely nice on the ears. Wiki proves again with this album, much like his past projects why he is one of the best artists in the experimental hip hop lane at the moment.
Offset and Stunna 4 Vegas- Up the Smoke
Offset of Migos fame and Stunna 4 Vegas link up for a new bouncy banger. After signing to Dababy’s Billion Dollar Baby Ent. and doing serious numbers on the underground, it looks like it’s only up from here for Stunna 4 Vegas.
